Who is the Spacefox?

Hi, my name is Lisa. Some friends call me Spacefox.

I am an explorer and storyteller who loves to document life through photography and writing.

After completing an academic path in business and marketing at one of Germany’s top universities, I (re)discovered myself more and more as an entrepreneur, artist and adventurer. Having built and run my own home decor business, I am familiar with a business owner’s perspective, priorities and challenges. Sharing photos and videos on Instagram has been my daily creative practice for many years and has taught me how to create in a simple, fast and fun way - and how to get the word out there! I believe in honest and genuine marketing expressed through natural, authentic imagery and copywriting. That’s why I specialise in travel, lifestyle and brand identity.

Being a photographer feels to me like being a researcher on expedition. Moving forward with intention and openness, guided by intuition and curiosity, always prepared for the unexpected, while paying close attention to detail. I also see myself as an artist as I try to step out of the way to let creativity flow through me. The camera is my tool, but my work goes way beyond perspective, composition, lighting, technical parameters and expensive equipment. Those are important too, but I’ll tell you my personal secret: I know that the outside world - which I want to capture in my images - is above all a reflection of my inner state of being. Part of my process is therefore to cultivate peace, love and passion within myself so that I can infuse everything I touch and create with that energy. That’s what I share with my clients, and what sets them apart. Good photography articulates beauty. Great photography has the power to transmit feelings. When I’m not shooting, I am spending time in nature, cooking, gardening, crafting, or learning something new.

I lived in Bali for 4 years and delved deep beneath the surface of what is portrayed and over-hyped on social media.
I lived in Morocco for a couple of years as well. Still can’t decide yet where I want to settle. Right now, I’m based in my idyllic countryside hometown in German Bliesgau, right next to France - back to the roots.
I speak German, English, French, Indonesian and a bit of Spanish. Currently learning Italian because I love Italy.
My parents are 100% German but I attended French school.
I founded my first company when I was 23. I never thought that entrepreneurship would teach me so much about myself.
I am a fast learner, and a recovered perfectionist.
I don’t like suffering, so I became a wellbeing nerd.
I am a certified Breathwork facilitator.
I am obsessed about the power of the human body, the mind, the soul, emotions, nutrition, energy, plant medicine and all sorts of healing methods.
People often say that my voice is gentle and calming.
I like to expand my comfort zone by taking risks and doing things that terrify me, things that I have never done before.
I deeply trust in life.
I see beauty everywhere, and I always see the best in people.

I am a good listener and a good observer.
I love animals, but mostly cats and foxes (no surprise).
I like to dye my hair pink every now and then.
I can’t start a day without a yoga or pilates session.
I love cooking and gardening. And I can’t stick to a recipe.
I love vintage! Cars, clothes, furniture… all the beautiful stuff.
Traveling and exploring new places is what makes me feel most happy and alive.
